Ready to hit the water?

Along the way, paddlers will enjoy plenty of wildlife and natural beauty including great blue heron, bald eagles, turtles, ducks, and deer. This scenic section provides a relaxing paddle and a wonderful opportunity to experience local wildlife up close.

Start Point: Riverwood Landing

End Point: Orchard Creek Landing

Route Length: 3.9 miles

Duration: 1-2 hours*

Age Requirement:  Paddlers must be at least 9 years old to paddle a kayak on their own.
For tandem kayaks/canoes, the second passenger may be as young as 4 years old, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

When you are finished with your paddling, please pull your equipment up on the shore and ensure it is far enough up on the bank/shore so it doesn’t float away.

*Reservations are required for all kayak/canoe rentals.

Please note: Paddlers are responsible for getting themselves to and from the designated launch and take-out points. Equipment transportation is handled by us.
