Paddlers are responsible for getting themselves to/from the designated launch/take-out points.
We know many of you are hoping for a shuttle service (we hear you!!—it was one of the most requested features in our survey!), and as much as we'd love to offer it, we’re currently unable to due to insurance limitations. We hope to revisit this in the future as we grow.

Established in 2011 as a state water trail, the Cedar River begins north of Austin, Minnesota and flows to southeast Iowa, where it joins the Iowa River and becomes a major tributary of the Mississippi River.
